Ka'anapali Coffee, on the island of Maui near the historical town of Lahaina, offers what may be the widest range of flavor profiles available from any single coffee farm in the world. From its inception, Ka'anapali separated and sold its coffee by botanical variety -- the wildly fruity Moka, the quietly classic heirloom Typica, the crisply bright Yellow Caturra, and the complex red Catuai. Furthermore, Ka'anapali processes coffee from each of these four varieties using two different methods: the wet process, which emphasizes the clean, bright aspects of each profile, and the natural dry process, emphasizing low-key complexity.

We're currently offering naturally processed red Catuai. This variety carries strong consistency in the cup, offering a hardy full-bodied coffee with medium acidity. You'll taste strong notes of spring flowers and subtle ones of young white wine, along with a hint of caramel. One of our absolute favorites!

This coffee has a mild nuttiness with hints of chocolate and grapefruit.
